From: James
Subject: Military

Hi. I have a question about airlines giving special rates or discounts to military personnel. If they do, how do you go about doing that and what is involved in making that happen?

James

Dear James,

Yes, as military personnel you can get greatly reduced fares when traveling on official military business. All you need to do is mention that you are a member of the military and most likely you'll need to show your I.D. Beware, that if you travel on a military discount while not on official military duty your ticket can be revoked and you might face possible sanctions from your branch of service.

All the best,
Joel
