Date: January 31, 2000 From: Frank Bell To: Penny Pincher Subject: Concorde Dear Joel, How can we get a cheap ride on the Concorde, flying from San Francisco to Paris?
Thanks,
Dear Frank, Right now the best way to get the cheapest seat on the Concorde is to fly for free. You can redeem 200,000 Delta Skymiles, for a ticket on the Concorde, via Air France. The next best way is watch the news reports or check the Web sites of British Airways or Air France, the two Concorde carriers (www.british-airways.com, www.airfrance.fr). On occasion, these airlines will advertise special fares for flights on the Concorde. However, these fares are usually only valid for a one-way trip, and youl need to find another ticket home, which could be costly. Either way, by watching the news or building up your miles, a flight on the Concorde is a thrilling experience.
Good luck,
