Date: Oct 20 1999 From: Sonia Alvarado To: Penny Pincher Subject: Vacation with a Toddler Help! I have a week's vacation and we don't know where to go. My baby is 15 months old and we would like to go to Hawaii, Cancun, London, or on a cruise. Are there any places with babysitting services?
Dear Sonia, Today, almost all hotels, resorts, and cruise lines offer services for children--including babysitting. Your best bet is to contact the hotel, resort, or cruise line of your choice directly to determine what services they offer. My main recommendation is to travel to one destination so that you will have continuity with your child care services, and fly first class using miles to upgrade (your toddler should be no charge). Flying first class will allow you to relax, have more room, and receive a special level of care for your toddler. Currently, most major airlines are offering upgrade specials to Mexico and Hawaii.
Have fun.
